If you are looking for a dynamic organization this is the opportunity for you. We are currently recruiting for a Finance Administrator to join our team in Saint John, NB.
**Your Primary Responsibilities will be**:
Receive and review employee expenses for company credit card program
Verify expense report calculations against receipts submitted and ensure appropriate backup and approvals
Perform data entry of employee expense amounts in Microsoft Dynamics GP ensuring that expenses are coded to the correct general ledger accounts
Ensure appropriate allocation of GST and/or PST
Contact employees or vendors to request supporting documents to resolve discrepancies
Provide advice and guidance to staff on policy and procedures
Respond to enquiries from staff and external organizations on financial transactional matters
Reception duties including answering and directing calls, receive incoming mail and monitoring visitor access
Partake in projects focusing on process improvement and process documentation
Banking duties, deposits, and administrative duties as required
Reviewing and auditing liabilities including purchase order receipts
Ad hoc reporting and projects
Post-secondary education
Experience in an accounting or accounts payable
Understanding of accounting fundamentals
Computer literate, and proficient in Microsoft Office
Detail orientated and deadline conscious
High-energy, goal oriented, self-motivated and must have a positive attitude
Ability to analyze and problem solve
