Bookkeeper - Part Time

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Preparing month & year end reports and related working papers
- Reconciling bank, credit card & other financial statements as required
- Assisting with preparing corporate tax returns, GST, PST, WCB, and ADP payrolls
- Performing full cycle accounting: AR/AP, journal entries, sales invoices
- Co-ordinating with the junior bookkeeper who works on-site for any accounting task required
- Other related accounting duties may be required
- The position reports to & works with the accountant and company owner
**Qualifications**:
- Min 2 years of experience in accounting/finance, preferably with an inventory-based company
- Highly proficient in QuickBooks Enterprise
- Proficient in MS Office with advanced skills in Excel
- Experience with reporting with CRA, WCB and PST
- Able to recognize process inefficiencies & suggest solutions or improvements
- English (required)
- Chinese (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Accounting/Finance: 2 years (required)
- QuickBooks: 1 year (required)
This is a part-time job. Work schedule is estimated to be 2 days per month; You will come in to work at the office once every half month. You will gather all the required documents from the junior bookkeeper who works on-site and submit them to the accountant for tax filing. The work schedule is negotiable.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
