**Key Responsibilities**
**Marketing & Communications**
Lead the development and execution of marketing initiatives that align with our brand values and business goals. You will oversee content creation, digital presence, and promotional campaigns across multiple platforms. This includes managing website updates, social media engagement, and community communications. You will work with internal teams to support member retention, service development, and customer experience improvements. Collaboration with staff across departments is essential to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.
**Team & Culture Engagement**
Serve as a public-facing representative of CCC, especially during events and key communications. Help foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture that reflects the spirit of our climbing community. Support staff development by highlighting their contributions and promoting CCC as a great place to work. You will also assist in organizing events, improving customer interactions, and working with front-line teams to enhance conversion and engagement.
**Community Outreach**
Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, schools, and businesses to expand our reach and visibility. Represent CCC at community events and support the planning of in-house promotions and member appreciation activities. Your efforts will help strengthen our presence and deepen our connection with the broader community.
You bring at least 5 years of experience in marketing leadership, ideally within lifestyle, recreation, or wellness industries. You are a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a passion for community building. Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms is an asset, as is experience in team collaboration and brand development.
Salary starts at $78,000/year plus benefits, depending on experience.
