Technical Sales Lead
**Guardteck Advanced Technology**, Canadian owned and operated, has served its clientele for more than 40 years, designing, installing, and servicing the most reliable and technologically advanced end-to-end **electronic security systems** available on the market, covering all sectors of commerce and industry.

As a high-performing** Technical Sales Lead**, you will leverage your past experience in Security Systems and Technical Sales to help Guardteck Advanced Technology meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans, and justifying those plans to the upper management. You will be a trusted advisor with customers, transform possibilities into probabilities, channel & new market development, have superior communication skills, creativity & innovation, and integrity.

Responsibilities for this role are expected to evolve to a Sales Leader as the Guardteck Advanced Technology Business Development team expands in Vancouver.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.
- Promote Kandor Management Corporation and Guardteck Advanced Technology organization and products.
- Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
- Develop your sales team through motivation, coaching, and product knowledge education.
- Manage organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
- Maintain active and accurate sales funnels with the aid of company CRM tool.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being?fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Coordinate with marketing on lead generation.
- Active participation in industry association events and meetings.
- Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.

**Critical Competencies**:

- Develop commercial business to meet sales targets for the Advanced Technology line of business.
- Develop relationships that will allow the introduction of the other lines of business within Kandor Management Corp.
- Make initial and follow-up calls to prospective clients for the purpose of scheduling sales appointments.
- Identify industries and new markets to introduce value added security solutions.
- Promote the entire line of security solutions provided by Guardteck Advanced Technology and Kandor Management Corp.
- Analyze the requirements of formal RFPs and work cooperatively with the Bid Management Team to construct RFP responses.
- Develop the proposal in coordination with the Operations Team.
- Make presentations to potential client decision makers, either individually or co-ordinates a team of specialists to assist in the presentation.
- Attend self-generated sales appointments, educating potential customers on Guardteck and Kandor products and solutions.
- Maintain database of prospective, opportunities, recording contact history and future activities in the Guardteck Advanced Technology CRM solution.
- Work with the Guardteck Advanced Technology team to provide solutions designed to solve customers’ business challenges.
- Travelling will be required to perform work at various client sites both locally and regionally; approximately 60-80%.
- Work is performed inside the Branch office approximately 20% of the time.
- Use of a computer, mobile phone and motor vehicle is required.
- Position is associated with highly personal client information and extreme confidentiality must be practiced.
- Complete compliance to the Guardteck Advanced Technology Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Corporate Policy.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Technical Degree in networking or electronics
- Minimum 7 years in Technical Sales - in Security systems or technically similar industries (Controls & Automation / Elevator / Networking)
- Minimum 6 years of selling experience involving security technology solutions
- Excellent written, verbal and prestation communication skills
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
- Consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Good time management, strategic planning, and organizational skills
