We are currently looking for an **Operations Manager** to join our London Residential and Commercial Leasing Team. This new and exciting opportunity will be responsible for providing operational leadership to both Residential Rentals and Commercial Leasing within Ontario’s First Community Powered by the Sun - West 5.
The Operations Manager is a key member of the Sifton team and is responsible for the effective operational management and leadership of the residential and commercial asset assignment, specifically leadership, support and direction for the core service teams and programs related to Leasing, Maintenance, Administration, Property Management and Customer Experience. As the Operations Manager you would be responsible for coordination and direction of the teams to ensure each customer experience journey is achieved as per Sifton Properties Limited, organization philosophy and mission.

About the Role:
- Working closely with key residential leaders in Customer Experience, Maintenance, Administration, Leasing and Property Management to ensure top quality service execution and standards while evolving and growing.
- Identify and manage capital projects and collaborate with the Director, Commercial Leasing (or delegate) for long-term asset plans to create opportunities for increased revenue and maximized capital within the portfolio.
- Ensure a community atmosphere that is supported by outstanding resident engagement activities to attract and retain our customer base, loyalty and sense of belonging.
- Drive the financial success of the portfolio. Maximize market rents, maximize ROI on suite renovations and capital expenditures, achieve targets, manage purchasing practices to ensure cost effectiveness.
- Conduct market analysis to ensure occupancy targets are achievable and a success in the local market.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-7 years managing all aspects of multiple residential and/or commercial properties or related field. Experience reflects an emphasis on customer service, leasing, building operations, capital improvement, maintenance, risk management, financial and strategic planning and leadership.
- Minimum 5 years’ direct leadership experience leading and motivating a large team of dynamic leaders, managers, supervisors and team members (including direct and indirect reports).
- Excellent general management skills including communication, customer relations, public relations, strategic thinking, problem-solving, marketing, human resources, budgets, financial accountability and facility management.
- An understanding of the local rental and commercial market demographics and competitive dynamics.
- An in-depth knowledge of all relevant legislation requirements and regulations related to residential and commercial property management including government inspections, quality audits, fire and building codes, health and safety, and other relevant regulations.
