**KEEN & ABLE LOGISTICS INC.** is currently hiring a full-time Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our team at our Toronto branch. This is a remote position from home that requires regular site visits throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) for customs and client-related matters. As such, you must have access to reliable transportation to perform duties of this position.

**Employment Details**:
Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Wage: $28.50 per hour

Benefits: Extended Health and Dental after 90 days

Location of Work: Greater Toronto Area (GTA) including site visits to Pearson Airport for customs, cargo control and CBSA matters as well as client warehouses throughout the region.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Coordinate the end-to-end logistics process, including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely delivery of goods and optimize inventory levels.
- Process customer orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and coordinate with internal teams to fulfill orders according to customer requirements.
- Arrange transportation for inbound and outbound shipments, including selecting carriers, negotiating rates, and scheduling deliveries to meet customer deadlines.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent stockouts.
- Ensure all shipping and customs documentation is accurate and complete and comply with relevant regulations and trade laws to facilitate smooth import/export processes.
- Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries and provide timely updates on order status, delivery schedules, and any potential issues or delays.
- Identify and resolve logistics-related issues quickly and efficiently, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to find effective solutions and minimize disruptions to the supply chain.
- Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes, procedures, and systems to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
- Visit the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) at Pearson Airport for Carnet, and other customs requirements such as A8A (Cargo Control Document) cancellations.
- May be required to visit customers' warehouses in the GTA to inspect the loading or blocking and bracing of specific cargo such as cars or over-dimensional shipments, ensuring the quality of goods and all safety requirements are met for transporting these types of shipments.
- Ensure all overseas and local mail and original bills of lading are picked up promptly UPS box in Toronto (2375 Brimley Road Unit 3 Suite 321, Toronto, Ontario M1S 3L6)
- Promptly handle any documentation related to freight shipments, such as original bills of lading, processing freight payments, and delivering support documents to airlines and/or ocean carriers to avoid delays in transportation.
- Being physically present at meetings required by customers located in the GTA for maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring the success of the business

**Education & Qualifications**:

- College Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business
- 2+ years of related logistics experience
- Access to own vehicle or reliable source of transportation
