The Parkside Hotel & Spa is currently seeking an awesome individual to fill the position of Maintenance associate. Our team members are a fun and inclusive collection of individuals who thrive in a creative and energetic environment.
- Please note that this is not a Supervisor or Management position, it is front-line, entry level role and we are willing to train the right person._

**About the job**:

- Maintains the swimming pool and hot tub in accordance with all health standards for repair and sanitation required for public use
- Keeps the Maintenance areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner
- Ensures the hotel is attended to and maintained to ensure maximum comfort for guests at all times and in accordance with any laws or regulations
- Attends to work orders in timely manner
- Does basic construction such as dry walling, mudding, tapping and painting
- Works on small appliances such as fridges, ovens, and lamps
- Handles guest inquiries in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner

**What you need to know**:

- Hands on experience with trouble shooting an asset
- Maintenance experience in a hospitality environment an asset
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Must be able to work independently
- Must meet the physical requirements of the job
- Must have the ability to deal with problems requiring initiative and good judgment
- Available to work day, evening and weekend shifts

- Good communication skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $21.37 per hour
