**Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in overseeing daily production operations, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This position is ideal for individuals looking to advance their career in manufacturing and production management.

**Duties**
- Assist in managing the production team to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
- Ability to cover different shifts (Day, Evening, Nights - as we are a 24 hour plant)
- Monitor production processes and equipment performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular inspections of the production area to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Train and mentor new employees on operational procedures and best practices.
- Responsible for different KPIs
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production activities and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, including output, downtime, and quality control measures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Experience working with Production, Quality and Safety
- Experience working with Healthy and Safety
- Previous experience being apart of JHSC is an asset
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic understanding of production processes and equipment operation.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on metrics.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.

**Shift**:Day Shift but a flexibility to cover afternoon, night and weekend shifts for vacation/coverages.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

- Manufacturing: 2 years (required)
- Food safety: 2 years (required)

- Food industry: 2 years (required)
