What this job involves
- JLL is hiring a receptionist for an industrial client in Mississauga. This role will manage the day-to-day activities and be the on-site key point of contact for visitors and clients.
The receptionist will work closely and provide support to the multiple client departments, as well as liaise with the Toronto head office. The receptionist will provide support to the warehouse team with shipping, reports and payments. The receptionist is responsible for delivering exceptional client experience every day through engagement, communication, service and other duties as required.
Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to all inquiries in a professional, courteous manner
Maintain and manage cleanliness and professional appearance of reception and waiting area including office supplies and photocopier duties and catering orders and set up for office functions
Collaborate daily with Customer Service department calling customers and entering orders for next day delivery
Work with all teams to create daily, weekly and monthly custom reports
Responsible for all services related to the Mailroom.
Manage incoming and outgoing driver deliveries, and manage shipments of equipment and samples.
Works collaboratively within the account team in the delivery of the services across all business lines (FM, Engineering, Transactions, Projects, etc.)
Distribute all employee related payment information and collect and forward all employee receipts as needed
Receive all walk-in orders and payments at site
Other duties as assigned
Exceptional customer service experience
Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate professionally
Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to identify and manage priorities that may shift frequently and deliver results timely with the highest quality.
Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills. energetic, articulate and personable. Ability to work well with others at all levels, including senior leadership, and across organizations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Project, Power Point, Excel.
The work environment requires a physical presence onsite at the facility to oversee daily operations and serve as the client contact.
