**ROLE SUMMARY**

Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Analyst plays an active role in the month-end process and in the preparation of financial and operational results. He/she participates in the monthly analyses and in the development of internal and external financial presentations. Accounting analysis plays a key role in the budget process where he/she participates in the preparation of financial projections. He also participates in various value-added financial analyses, such as the preparation of the E-Business Development Tax Credit (E-BDC) claim and the optimization of the amount claimed.

**MORE SPECIFICALLY, YOUR ROLE WILL INVOLVE**
- Analyze the various general ledger accounts to validate the completeness of recorded financial transactions;
- Participate in the production of the monthly consolidated financial statements and the month-end accounting process
- Participate in the year-end audit file and the production of the annual consolidated financial statements
- Ensures the integrity of financial data, in particular by verifying the functioning and efficiency of the tools used to integrate financial information from various source systems that are transferred to the accounting system;
- Recommend improvements in the form of time corrections, changes to the nomenclature, etc. Follow up with employees and managers to ensure that recommendations are implemented;
- Preparation of financial and operational results sent monthly to shareholders, managers and board of directors;
- Preparation of financial information sent to creditors according to the credit agreement in effect
- Analyze the eligibility to the CDAE for each new project, stage and employee;
- Prepare all documents and schedules required for the annual CDAE claim;
- Participate in the preparation of financial projections, including the annual budget and mid-year forecast;
- Analyze variances between the budget, the previous year and actual results.
- Assist the Controller in the implementation of internal controls and process improvements across the different entities of the company;
- Participate in the creation of automated management dashboards that meet the needs of internal customers by providing them with relevant information for decision making.
**CANDIDATE PROFILE**
- Undergraduate university degree
- Hold or be working towards a professional accounting designation (CPA)
- Minimum of one to two (1-2) years of relevant experience

- Oral and written communication skills, both in French and English
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Power BI is an asset
