Job Summary

With a strong and passionate team, bold growth objectives and the resources to achieve them, we are currently looking for an Accounting Analyst

**Responsibilities**:
Work closely with the Vice President of Finance in carrying out various tasks, such as:
Revenues (validation of billing accuracy, provisions and corrections when necessary)
Purchasing (monitoring of import purchase orders, preparation of end-of-month regulations for stocks in transit and responsible for the payment schedule)
Communication with customers and suppliers as needed
Month-end and year-end procedures (review engagement)
Adjusting entries
Financial analyzes and production of reports and reporting documents
Analysis of exceptions and budget variances
Reading of contracts, entry of relevant data in the accounts and follow-up of documentary requirements)
GST/QST returns and US tax slips
Participate in special projects
Other related tasks

Professional requirements

Studies in accounting or finance (accounting title not necessary)
3 - 5 years of experience in accounting (full accounting cycle - ESSENTIAL)
Experience in the manufacturing or retail sector
Multi-currency experience an asset

**Spoken and written languages**: French (fluent) and English

**Software**: Excel (intermediate/advanced), Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Momentis ERP (asset) or other ERP
Resourcefulness, autonomy, sense of initiative, ease of learning and adaptation
Versatile, good priority management
Attention to detail and sense of organization
Ability to analyze and synthesize
Team spirit and dynamism
