About the program/department/team
The opportunity
The Diversity Institute is currently recruiting Research Assistants who will provide professional assistance to the Diversity Institute’s Research Team.
- Research and writing support, including literature reviews and reports
- Attending client meetings to support field research
- Developing slide decks for presentations
- Analyzing databases and quantitative data and preparing graphs, reports, etc.
- Supporting the development of consulting proposals and project plans
**Qualifications**:
- MA in social science in one of the following areas: business, business technology management, entrepreneurship, technology studies and areas related to business and technology use.
- Excellent knowledge of technology use in business operation / management, entrepreneurship, startups, entrepreneurial ecosystem
- Demonstrated skills and experiences with literature review
- Experiences with research projects using quantitative and qualitative data analysis
- Excellent skills with analytical software, such as Excel, SPSS, Stata, R, Python, and/or NVivo
- Demonstrated strong writing skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills including communication and time management skills
- Living in the GTA
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
