**Job Title: Experienced Bartender**

**Location**: Waterworks Food Hall, 499 Richmond Street, Toronto
**Position Type**: Part-Time Permanent
**Reports to**: Bar Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with established recipes and protocols.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing top-tier customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organized bar area, including restocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and ensuring that the bar is fully stocked for service.
- Accurately process payments.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible service guidelines.
- Provide recommendations to guests on drink choices, upsell menu items, and make personalized drink suggestions.
- Ensure that all bar equipment and tools are in good working condition and inform the Bar Manager of any maintenance needs.
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a smooth flow of service.
- Adhere to all health and safety standards, as well as company policies and local laws regarding alcohol service.
- Assist in the training of new bartenders or staff members as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a bartender
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, bartending techniques, and cocktail presentations.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and handle various situations with professionalism.
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Smart Serve certification required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, including kegs, liquor bottles, and supplies.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
