**POSITION OVERVIEW**

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP). Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the HRBP will collaborate with business leaders to align HR practices with business goals, focusing on driving performance, fostering employee engagement, and supporting organizational growth. This role will require a combination of strategic thinking, HR expertise, and the ability to influence change at all levels of the organization.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work closely with business leaders to understand business objectives and provide HR solutions to drive performance, productivity, and engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor for both managers, employees, and the executive team in providing guidance on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and employee development
- Full-cycle recruiting activities including screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of employees
- Partner with executives, directors, and managers to support seasonal hiring needs to meet operational demands
- Contribute to the design and implementation of programs that foster a positive culture and employee engagement
- Aid in organizing company events, town halls, Christmas parties, and annual corporate challenge involvement
- Manage day-to-day HRIS maintenance requirements, logins, system settings, approval paths, etc.
- Support organizational change initiatives, providing guidance on restructuring, transitions, and business transformation
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to make informed recommendations on improving employee engagement, retention, and overall workforce effectiveness
- Ensure adherence to employment labor laws across multiple provincial boundaries including Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba
- Mentor and coach managers on leadership best practices and performance management
- Administer the benefits program and perform new hire enrollments and personnel changes within the benefits provider portal
- Assist in the administration of the performance review process

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- HR certification (e.g., CPHR, SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred
- 2+ years of progressive HR experience
- Deep understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence others at all levels of the organization
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement HR strategies that drive business results
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to change

**HOURS OF WORK**

The typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
