We are searching for a Housekeeper to join our Parkland on Eglinton West team based in Etobicoke, Ontario.

**Approximate hourly wage**: $18.85-$20.30

About the Opportunity

Maintaining an awareness of the specific needs of each client as to provide individualized service that meets and exceed expectations;
Maintaining cleanliness of the entire building, including common areas; including the parking area, the exterior of the building, emptying common area waste receptacles, cleaning stairwell, vacuuming, cleaning common washrooms, replenishing supplies, and other duties as required;
Working as an integral part of a dedicated team in maintaining a clean, healthy environment for our clients
Respecting and protecting client confidentiality;
Understanding and demonstrating safe practices at all times.
Maintains a clean, orderly and safe work area;
Maintains and cooperates with facility Policies and Procedures, Fire & Emergency plan, WHMIS, Infection Control, Health & Safety and any other required by the facility;
Promote safety culture by continuously working safely including but not limited to identifying and reporting hazards, following safe work practices and procedures, wearing personal protective equipment, supporting others to work safely and completing safety education.
Demonstrates exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible shifts

About You

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:
A high level of initiative for and commitment to completing housekeeping assignments efficiently and in a warm, friendly and customer-service-oriented manner.
You have the ability to do extensive standing, walking, squatting, kneeling and moving of light and heavy objects and you can demonstrate experience working and communicating with internal and external customers to meet needs in a polite, courteous, and cooperative manner.
You have a High School diploma or equivalent education have oral and written communication skills in English.
You are able to work independently with mínimal supervision and can safely use chemical cleaning agents and equipment.
Previous housekeeping experience is an asset, as is First Aid and CPR certification.
A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
