**Hourly rate**: $18.85-20.30 + 8% all inclusive rate

About the Opportunity
Support all Supportive Living Floors by way of assisting with the cleaning, sanitizing, organizing and laundering of resident’s suites, resident’s linen and common areas
Clean rooms vacated by residents and prepare rooms for incoming residents
Cleaning and restocking housekeeping carts; notifying the Housekeeping Supervisor when housecleaning supplies are low;
Laundry washing/drying/Ironing/putting away items and ensuring supplies are stocked at all times
Promote safety culture by continuously working safely including but not limited to identifying and reporting hazards, following safe work practices and procedures, wearing personal protective equipment, supporting others to work safely and completing safety education.
Demonstrates exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible shifts
About You
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:
A high level of initiative for and commitment to completing housekeeping assignments efficiently and in a warm, friendly and customer-service-oriented manner.
You have the ability to do extensive standing, walking, squatting, kneeling and moving of light and heavy objects and you can demonstrate experience working and communicating with internal and external customers to meet needs in a polite, courteous, and cooperative manner.
You have a High School diploma or equivalent education have oral and written communication skills in English.
You are able to work independently with mínimal supervision and can safely use chemical cleaning agents and equipment.
Previous housekeeping experience is an asset, as is First Aid and CPR certification.
A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
