**Natural Resources Casualty Broker**

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of the National Natural Resources Broking Group within Aon.

This opportunity may be available as a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and in one of the Aon’s Offices in Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal or Toronto.

**What the day will look like**
- ** Strategic Leadership**: Execute the overall strategy for Aons casualty broking across Natural Resources, in alignment with Aon National and Global Broking strategies.
- ** Market Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with key insurance carriers and market stakeholders to secure competitive terms and conditions for clients.
- ** Technical Expertise**:Stay informed of trends in the casualty insurance markets, providing technical insights on casualty insurance products, addressing emerging risks and reviewing compliance to regulatory requirements
- ** Mentoring**: Provides guidance, training and mentoring to assist in the development of less experienced Brokers within the national group
- ** Day to Day Trading**: Manage a renewal book of key clients within the Natural Resources portfolio
- Performs other related duties as required

**How this opportunity is different**

As a Senior Casualty Specialist within Aon's Natural Resources Broking Centre of Excellence, you will help develop and deliver the Natural Resources broking strategy, be a technical casualty resource for both clients and colleagues and negotiate with underwriters for the best terms, conditions for key clients. The national and global practice is well established, experienced and provides the opportunity to further expand your knowledge and skill set.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- 10+ years of insurance background and knowledge is required
- Expertise in Casualty
- Expertise in the Natural Resources / Energy / Mining sector is an asset
- Broker licensed is an asset
- Strong skills in both written and verbal communications to be able to make an impact and influence with the client and the insurance compan
