**Responsibilities**
- Supporting both Daytona Homes and City Homes Master Builder, estimators are responsible for accurate and timely purchase orders for construction starts and contribute to the maintenance of the ERP software for master budgets and projects._
- Complete all purchase orders for job starts
- In working with the production, construction and sales team, research and complete to retail all
- Price requests for custom or changed items to presale homes
- Complete and maintain all master take-off’s, specification and design changes
- Build all master budgets and master products for product library
- Complete material take-offs and ensure quantities are consistent with master budgets
- Prepare and issue variance purchase orders
- Process invoices as required to ensure trade/supplier partners are paid according to agreed upon timelines; identify any differences in contract pricing and review with supervisor
- Maintain awareness of building codes, municipality changes and construction techniques
- Support construction team and trade/supplier partners with any construction issues/discrepancies
- Ensure invoices are processed and kept current for the 15th and 20th payables
- Complete all Cost-to-Completes in conjunction with accounting for occupancy, 6 and 13 months
- Other duties and responsibilities assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of residential estimating experience
- Experience in using an ERP System (preferably Newstar Enterprise) is an asset
- Construction Estimating Certificate (not required, considered an asset)
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to work in a team as well as individually
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to manage a heavy workload and operate efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects
