MAPEI INC., a well known manufacturer of adhesives, grouts and chemical products for floor installation and construction is presently looking to fill the position of **Quality Control Technician (Night Shift)**

In Brampton, under the responsibility of the Quality Control Manager, the position holder assists the latter in his functions. (Night shift)

**Main tasks and responsibilities**:

- Carries out and interprets tests for the following departments: Quality Control, Production and Technical Services, according to the needs
- Does the quality verification and evaluation of the products (raw materials / finished goods)
- Prepares the certificates of analysis
- Prepares statistics data
- Communicates various data to the concerned departments
- Applies the procedure for the quarantined products
- Applies good laboratory practices
- Maintains his/her work area
- Carries out special projects when needed
- Gives a daily report of activities to the QC Manager

You need:

- CD in Chemistry or in Science of Nature and 1 year experience in a similar environment.
- Very good knowledge of Excel and good knowledge of Outlook, AS-400 is an asset
- Proficient in the preparation and production of tests and in chemical analysis interpretation
- Very good coordination and dexterity
- Detailed (rigorous)
- Good time and priorities management
- Good analytical capacity

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
