Electrical Journeyperson

We are looking for an ambitious electrical **Journey-Person**. You bring a passion for sustainability and achieving results. This role is responsible for supporting our foreperson in managing the commercial/industrial installations of our sustainable energy solutions while helping Thrive Electrify complete its projects efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality. This role reports directly to our electrical foreperson.

**WHAT You Bring**
- Electrical Experience: Journey-Person
- Electrical Project ICI (Institutional, Commercial, Industrial)
- Class 5 Driver’s License (required)
- Project management skills to help see projects through to completion.
- An expert in electrical systems and equipment.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong organization and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Solid computer and technology skills.
- Knowledgeable or a strong interest in learning about technology; particularly in the areas of LED lighting, Internet of Things, EV charging, solar panels, and battery storage.
- FSR B (Bonus)
- Low voltage and wireless lighting controls experience such as Wavelinx or Signify (Bonus)
- Autocad, Dialux or Revu experience (Bonus)

**What You'll Do**
- Live and **promote** Thrive’s core values.
- Help **train**, **coach**, and **mentor **apprentice electricians.
- **Oversee** the installation of electrical systems and equipment.
- Ensure **compliance with safety regulations.**:

- Assist with managing project **timelines** and **budgets**.
- Assist with managing **onsite inventory** - ordering, delivery and reporting
- Read and interpret **technical drawings** and specifications, and ensure that the installation work is carried out accordingly.
- Learning about, and maintaining **wireless lighting control systems**:

- Assist with conducting **quality control inspections.**:

- Maintain regular **communication with clients**, project managers, and other stakeholders, providing updates on the progress of the project when needed.
