HVAC and Sprinkler systems an asset but not required. - Has a good understanding of the current plumbing code. - Strong communication skills. - Practices safe work. **Responsibilities will include but are not limited to**: - Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems, in-floor and radiant heating systems, and on-demand hot water systems/combi-boilers. - Perform preventive maintenance inspections. - Checks, repairs and/or replaces valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, pumps, pipes and other functional components of the system. - Knowledge and experience with drain cleaning and camera inspection tool experience, as well as roll grooving and threading pipe. - Sewer and water repairs and replacements. - Septic system knowledge and installation experience an asset. - Maintenance and repair of storm and sewer lift pumps. - Rough-in new residential/commercial plumbing systems. **Qualifications**: - Interprovincial Journeyman Red-Seal in 1 or more trades, Plumber and Gasfitter. - Thorough knowledge and understanding of building trades is required. - Ability to maintain a positive attitude and a clean & tidy work environment. - Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as time management and organizational skills. - Renovation and new build experience is an asset. **License/Certification**: - Valid class 5 driver's license (required) - Plumber Red Seal (required) - Gas B License (preferred) - Cross-connections (preferred) **You must be living in Canada and possess a valid work permit - no out of country applicants please.** Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Company car - Company events - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance - RRSP match **Experience**: - plumbing: 3 years (required) Licence/Certification: - Class 5 License (required) Work Location: On the road
