Banquet Supervisor

**MontHill Golf & Country Club** is seeking an accomplished fulltime Banquet Supervisor **(35-44 Hours/week. $24-$26/hr depending on experience**) to supervise all aspects of our banquet operations and deliver high-level dining experiences for our banquet guests. **Daily duties within this role include but are not limited to**: banquet supervising tasks including inventory control, training and scheduling staff, overseeing banquet operations. - **FURTHER RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Effectively promote and work in a group environment with other department team leaders - Inspire, train, and develop team members - Instill a guest service attitude in all employees using a "hands-on" approach - Closely monitor guests' dining experiences and ensure team members are meeting member and guest needs and expectations - Work with the kitchen staff to make sure food service is taking place in a timely manner - Setting up banquet area as per floor plan specified - Solid scheduling experience and creative thinking - Follow/enforce company policies and procedures - Assume responsibility/accountability and closing duties**QUALIFICATIONS**: - Excellent leadership, communication, organizational skills, and fiscal responsibility - Excellent listening skills and creative problem-solving skills - Strong track record maintaining consistent standards - Requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a supervisor or manager in a restaurant or event centre setting - Post-secondary degree in Hospitality and Tourism an asset - Must be available on nights, weekends, and some holidays - Full availability during standard golf season (April-Oct.) - **Why Work with us**: By working at MontHill Golf and Country Club you will be working for a distinguished establishment in an excellent environment to learn banquet serving or to further your career in culinary and/or hospitality industry fields.
