As Event & Restaurant Supervisor at MontHill Golf and Country Club you will be involved in many levels of day-to-day operations. Your primary focus will be to supervise and assist in delivering memorably enjoyable experiences for our golfers, dining room, and banquet guests. Daily tasks include opening and closing the building, overseeing service for lunch and dinner, along with assisting in banquet operations. MontHill GCC is one of the premier golf, and formal events hosting, destinations in Southern Ontario. **Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications** **RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Effectively promote and work in a group environment with other department team leaders. - Develop and implement creative strategies to increase revenues and average checks via suggestive selling techniques. - Instill a highly customer satisfaction focused guest service attitude in all employees using a "hands-on", lead by active example, approach to management. - Closely monitor guests dining experiences and ensure that team members are meeting Member and guest needs and expectations to the level of excellence required by MontHill G.C.C. quality standards. - Ensure revenue and profitability goals are achieved. - Always adhere strictly to, and enforce, company policies and procedures. - Assume responsibility and practise accountability. **QUALIFICATIONS**: - Proven excellent effective and efficient leadership, communication, organizational, and fiscal management skills. - Outstanding listening skills, regular use of effective creative problem-solving skills. - Strong track record of responsibility and accountability for consistently maintaining excellent quality standards. - Extensive knowledge of both old and new, wines and spirits of the world.
