**Position Overview**

We are seeking an experienced **Payroll Specialist** to join our dynamic team in Vancouver, BC. This hybrid role is integral to ensuring the accuracy and compliance of payroll for our fast-paced, multi-company environment. With a team-first mindset and a focus on continuous improvement, the Payroll Specialist will support our growing organization by delivering efficient and precise payroll services.

**Location**:Hybrid; minimum 2-3 days in office.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Process bi-weekly payroll for multiple companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and file payroll tax forms, remittances, and statutory reports.
- Manage employee benefits, deductions, and payroll adjustments.
- Resolve payroll inquiries and discrepancies for employees.
- Identify and implement improvements to payroll processes and workflows.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and managers to support payroll and HRIS alignment.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-company setting.
- Retail payroll experience preferred for alignment with our team needs.
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification preferred.
- Proficient in payroll software and MS Excel; HRIS experience an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, tax laws, and best practices in Canada.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communicator with a customer-service mindset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Payroll: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
