**About the Marketing Coordinator Role**
The marketing coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment where you will work closely with all functions of the business to promote GreatWest Kenworth and drive growth. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales & Business Development, this role offers challenges as you’ll have a chance to work with the latest technology, giving you an opportunity to showcase your skills and experience. As the Marketing Coordinator, your role is pivotal in promoting GreatWest Kenworth's products, services, and value proposition while enhancing brand presence, market positioning, and driving business growth. **Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities**:
- Oversee Website updates and functionality.
- Maintain and update the company website, including content, landing pages, campaigns, and customer support features.
- Ensure daily accuracy of truck inventory and photos.
- Implement management-requested changes.
- Manage Social Media
- Design eye-catching graphics for social media and promotional materials.
- Create and schedule content for all social media.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies and plans.
- Maintain brand consistency across marketing materials and all forms of advertising.
- Represent the company at industry and community events.
- Organize, plan, and attend industry events & tradeshows, including set up and take down of booths.
- Build relationships with schools and communities to promote careers and boost brand awareness, collaborating with HR and hiring managers to meet recruitment needs through effective campaigns.
- Manage inventory of promotional materials and items.
- Provide additional support to the Vice President of Sales & Business Development and other business areas as required.
**Essential Qualifications**:
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Strong PC skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and WordPress experience (preferred).
**Key Attributes/Skills/Characteristics**:
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong ethics, confidentiality, and time management abilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for events and community engagement.
**Additional Job Duties**:
- Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance.
- Manage marketing automation systems and databases.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.
**Education and/or Experience**:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing is an asset.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Knowledge of the heavy-duty truck industry is an asset.
