Program Evaluator

The Program Evaluator will consult with the program submissions team and Senior Management team for all Social Service Support Worker Program related programs.

**PTIB Standards**:
**Credential Requirement**:

- Relevant credential plus a minimum of two years of occupational experience in career occupations relevant to the program of instruction.
- No credential but a minimum of ten years of occupational experience in a career relevant to the program of instruction.

**Special Credential Needed (Certification or License)**
- Registration with the BC College of Social Workers (RSW) or eligibility to register is an asset
- Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector)

**Occupational Experience Needed (Job title / occupation)**
- Social Service Worker / Community Support Worker / Case Manager / Outreach Worker / Human Services Professional (Canadian context).

**Educational Background**:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or a related discipline required.
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field preferred.

**Professional Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in community service, social work, counselling, or social support roles.
- Experience working with diverse populations including at-risk, vulnerable, and marginalized individuals.
- Familiarity with community resources, case documentation, and social service frameworks.
- Previous post-secondary or vocational teaching experience preferred.
- Experience developing or delivering training in social work or community service settings an asset.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong interpersonal and counselling skills.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed, client-centered, and strengths-based approaches.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Understanding of professional ethics, boundaries, and confidentiality practices.
- Understanding of the BC Human Services Framework and relevant legislation (e.g., Child, Family and Community Service Act).
- Ability to relate effectively to learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of curriculum design and student assessment strategies an asset.

**Compensation**:

- This will be a contract position that will pay $250.00 to $300 Canadian per project
