**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Salesforce Administration**
- Configure and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and other relevant Salesforce clouds.
- Manage user accounts, profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings.
- Create and maintain custom objects, fields, workflows, process builder, flows, and validation rules.
- Design and implement reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights.
- Perform data imports, exports, and data cleansing activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user (ie. team members) issues and provide ongoing support.
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases and new features.

**Data Architecture & Management, including Data Residency**
- Ensure data storage and processing comply with relevant data sovereignty laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Understand and manage data storage locations within Salesforce Hyperforce, and other relevant platforms.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across the Salesforce platform.
- Optimize data storage, performance, and scalability.
- Implement data governance policies and procedures.
- Utilize data migration tools and techniques to transfer data between systems, while maintaining data residency compliance.
- Analyze and optimize data flows and integrations.
- Document data architecture and data management processes, including data residency documentation.
- Work with large data volumes, and understand the impact of data skews.

**Collaboration & Communication**
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, including those related to data residency, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide clear and concise communication to technical and non-technical audiences, especially regarding data residency implications.
- Train team members on Salesforce functionality and best practices, including data handling and compliance.
- Participate in project planning and execution.

**Key Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201).

**Skills**
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and best practices.
- **Comprehensive understanding of data residency principles and regulations.**:

- Experience with Salesforce configuration, customization, and development.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal
- Experience in a Salesforce Data Architecture residency program.
- **Specific experience managing Salesforce data in compliance with data residency requirements.**:

- Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
- Experience with Salesforce integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Data Loader, Workbench).
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with large data volumes, and performance tuning.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

**Nice to Haves**
- Salesforce Data Architecture Associate Certification.
