Concord, Canada International Paper Converters Ltd. Full time

I.P.C. is Canada’s only fully integrated manufacturer of printed and stock paper twist handle retail bags located in Vaughan, Ontario.

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to ensure production products are manufactured to specifications and to oversee the enforcement of our GMP policies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as a leader for the factory in terms of ensuring quality standards and compliance to Quality specifications
- Ensure compliance to Company audit programs (manufacturing practices, Hazard Analysis Critical Control point (HACCP) standards, maintenance, food safety, etc.), as well as to audits required by external parties
- Deliver superior quality through continuous improvement of quality systems
- Develop, monitor and maintain critical control points to ensure excellent process and product quality by performing studies and statistical analysis
- Ensure quality standard operating procedures (SOPs) are being followed
- Enforce and promote safe working practices
- Liaise with other production departments and manage those activities which relate to quality.
- Facilitate training (or train) operators and managers on quality systems and issues where applicable.
- Ensure all rework for holds are engaged and completed on time to ensure quality warehouse specifications are maintained
- Coach employees on their roles and responsibilities as well as developing employees through the normal performance evaluation process
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Three to five years’ experience in Quality Control/Assurance field is needed.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Ability to work independently on improvement projects.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Install, assist in performing IQ/OQ qualification of packaging equipment as required.
- Work in a safe manner and possess basic knowledge in health & safety regulations
- Good time management skills, punctual and reliable

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
