**Summary**

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant to join our team at Stage Windows & Doors. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our high standards of quality by assisting in inspections and ensuring compliance with quality control processes. Your contributions will be essential in upholding our commitment to excellence.

**Responsibilities**
- **Quality Control and Assurance**:

- Perform routine inspections of incoming materials, components and finished products to ensure adherence to company quality standards.

**Quality Control**
- Conduct root cause investigations and respond to Quality Assurance Manager's inquiries.
- Guide the team members on any improvements and corrective actions that can be carried out for effective implementation of the system.
- Educate line associates about quality standards, control measures and resolution processes.
- Audit various manufacturing processes to ensure product during manufacturing.
- Conduct root cause investigations and understand the various causes of a product defect.
- Proactively seek knowledge on all products and services.
- Continuous improvement tasks.

**Documentation**
- Record and analyze defects, evaluate corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct audits and ensure procedures and processes needed to sustain quality objectives are established and implemented.
- Maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.
- Ensure a thorough understanding of products, quality standards and issue resolution processes.
- Check production lines to ensure standards are adhering to product specifications during manufacturing.
- Determine the cause of a defect.
- Perform various testing on random finished product samples.
- Conduct root cause investigations and respond to Quality Engineering inquiries.
- Guide the employees on any improvements and corrective actions that can be carried out for effective implementation of the system.
- Educate line associates about quality standards, control measures and resolution processes.

**Requirements**:

- Experience or education in Quality Assurance/Quality Control is preferred.
- Prior working knowledge of Windows and Doors is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Familiarity with quality inspection techniques and tools, including calipers.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Operate in an office and manufacturing environment.

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
