**Sorrentino's Cucina + Bar**

Do you love working in a kitchen environment where quality and consistency are key? Sorrentino's Stony Plain is looking for a full-time Line Cook to join our team This is a key position within our organization that plays a critical role in providing excellent internal and external customer service.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards with a focus on Italian cuisine.
- Ensure the assigned station is fully stocked and ready before each service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Follow all good handling, sanitation, and safety procedures in accordance with location health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Communicate effectively with staff, managers, and customers.
- Exhibit energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- Adapt to various kitchen tasks and cross-train as needed.
- Execute daily opening and closing checklists with accuracy.
- Participate in deep cleaning and organization tasks as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- A minimum of one year of experience in a professional kitchen is preferred.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations, prep, and line execution.
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to work standing for long periods and lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- A genuine passion for the restaurant industry and customer service.

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
