What You’ll Be Doing:
The Learning & Development Specialist role demonstrates our commitment to strengthening Team Member Engagement by planning and executing talent development programs that drive company values, increase employee engagement, and accelerate performance to deliver business results.
How you’ll succeed:
- Designing, developing and delivering talent development programs for a range of audiences such as Frontline, Management and Executives.
- Meeting with stakeholders to determine and manage program objectives, content and review cycle.
- Conducting research and interpreting findings to establish best practices and gaps to help form scalable solutions.
- Identifying and tracking key metrics to determine the overall effectiveness of talent development programs and support Sienna’s strategic business objectives.
- Supporting the creation of instructional content (webinars, job aids, videos, etc.).
- Organizing, preparing and facilitating onsite and virtual training sessions for train the trainer initiatives.
What you need to know:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in instructional design, organizational development and facilitation, ideally in soft skills or leadership development.
- Experience working with e-learning authoring tools is an asset.
- Proficient with ADDIE/SAM design processes.
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
- Eagerness to incorporate new learning technologies and trends into program design.
- Creative attitude and confident mindset.
- Project management experience.
- University degree/certificate in Education, Adult Learning, Organizational Development or other relevant discipline.
