**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on project plans and specifications.
- Utilize software tools such as Planswift to create accurate takeoffs and estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers to understand project scope and requirements.
- Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to formulate competitive pricing strategies.
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Prepare bid proposals and present findings to stakeholders.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and project documentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pricing changes, and new materials or techniques in construction.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is essential.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software such as Planswift is preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and project management principles.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in cost analysis.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information clearly.

Pay: $55,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
