**Who we are**:
Pro-Can Construction Group is a medium sized boutique General Contractor that specializes in projects in the $5-40M range. We have been servicing the Lower Mainland for 40 years with our team centrally located in Burnaby, BC. Our project expertise includes Institutional Buildings, Multi-Family Housing Complexes, and Industrial Centres.

**The Opportunity**:
Pro-Can is looking for a new team member to help our estimating team and provide business development support. There is opportunity for both full time and part time employment.

**The Role**:
Responsibilities range between working with the pre-construction team and providing business development support. Duties will include, but not limited to, the following:
**Estimation**:

- Analyze drawings and specifications
- Assist in preparing clear and detailed take offs
- Assist the Chief Estimator in assembling accurate, detailed, and well-organized proposals
- Maintain database costs and pricing
- Manage bidder software
- Assist PM team with budgeting during preconstruction

**Business Development**:

- Assist in preparing Qualification Statements and RFQs
- Lead generation management
- Managing website updates and Social Media Accounts

**Skills and Experience**:
**Mandatory**:

- Graduating from a recognized engineering, architectural, or construction management program
- Strong experience and knowledge of reading drawings and specifications
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage time and adapt to priorities
- Ability to work independently, but still a team player

**Nice to have**:

- Minimum 1 year experience working in the construction field in a similar or related position
- Estimator experience with costs and pricing
- Ability to use Revit or CAD programs

**Compensation**:
Training for the position is included, the amount of training required will dictate the starting rate.
- $40,000 - $65,000/annually
- Extended Medical

**Must be eligible to work in Canada.**

**Experience**:

- Commercial construction: 1 year (recommended)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
