We are currently looking for a **Sales Lead** for the UK market. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will be accountable for driving the strategy and sales plan required to deliver our international growth plans. Battat is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Account Manager with a proven ability to formulate sound business plans, maximize opportunities, deliver on profitability goals, develop effective long-term business relationships, and exceed customer expectations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Evaluate, continually develop and execute sales strategy for multiple accounts and brands;
- Develop, present, sell and implement product sales plans, deals, and promotions for the assigned accounts within the market to meet corporate sales objectives;
- Sales Cycle Management - complete management and execution of all phases of selling cycle;
- Accountable for achieving sales quota, distribution, merchandising, and pricing objectives for assigned accounts;
- Develop Battat’s business at assigned accounts through effective business planning using an analytical approach to understand opportunities, strengths and objectives of account;
- Gain and maintain distribution, securing effective shelf position, promotional and marketing support for the assigned brands;
- Track, measure and analyze sales using tools such as Power BI and account sales reports to identify opportunities for growth;
- Conduct timely and effective review of actual performance to ensure goals are achieved and adjust plans as necessary;
- Report on key results and metrics related to your market;
- Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets;
- Provide accurate and detailed sales forecasts that best reflect market realities through collaboration with Analytics & Demand Planning Team and update forecasts as required;
- Manage, maintain and grow existing relationships with clients by acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs, timelines and requirements and by proactively providing them with all information and materials required to make decisions;
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers, deal with problems and continuously propose solutions that meet their objectives to maintain trust;
- Identify and engage new clients to advance sales through new accounts;
- Maintain clear and efficient communication with customers and provide fast solutions to challenges;
- Continuously research and remain knowledgeable of industry trends and competition;
- Partner with International Marketing team to develop bi-annual marketing plans and bi-monthly marketing campaigns to deliver sales objectives.

**Skills, Competencies & Optimal Requirements**:

- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of growing business
- Strong knowledge of retail sales
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, self-motivated and solution-focused
- Ability to communicate results to executive stakeholders
- Have a strong entrepreneurial mindset, and be excited by an agile, changing, and dynamic culture
- Ability to balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives
- Effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.

**Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
- 5+ years' national sales, account management or business development experience
- Retail or consumer packaged goods experience required, preferably within the toy industry
- Experience living in or working in the UK, Europe or other international markets preferred
- Previous experience managing national accounts for a similar company (an asset)
- Experience working with e-commerce (an asset)
