**GENERAL FUNCTION**

The Optical Sales Associate/Eyewear Stylist’s role is to develop and maintain a solid, personalized relationship with existing and potential customers. The Associate/Stylist will uphold the HARINA guarantee of providing exceptional patient care while respecting the company sales behaviour model and goals. Their primary responsibility is to exceed all client expectations by providing valuable advice on and effective solutions to eye care and eyewear, resulting in a superior and seamless customer care experience from start to finish.

**MAIN JOB REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**OUTSTANDING COMMUNICATION**:

- Be the BRAND of HARINA Optométristes by professionally greeting and warmly welcoming customers to the HARINA FAMILY
- Clearly communicate with customers, really listen and define their eye care needs with a priority on eye exams
- Use sound judgment to deal with all types of customers no matter how difficult or indecisive
- Develop long-term client relationships and a constantly growing roster of fully satisfied customers
- Participate in company meetings and team-building exercises by sharing your ideas and suggestions.

**EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER CARE & SERVICE**:

- Highly astute; able to identify and attract potential clients
- Possess the drive and ambition to exceed our clients’ expectations and provide the elevated HARINA customer service experience from start to finish
- Demonstrate superior product knowledge to effectively assist clients in choosing appropriate products and finding perfect solutions
- Possess extraordinary attention to detail; follow up on your own and consult with the team as needed
- Identify potential problems to develop long-term solutions in a timely manner
- Make a commitment to clients regarding realistic delivery dates and times, following up on pick-up times
- Solicit customer feedback and reviews; actively seek client referrals
- Convey genuine gratitude to clients for their support to inspire loyalty
- Educate customers at time of pick-up of eyewear or contact lenses

**SPECIAL COMPETENCIES**:

- Prioritize duties, manage time efficiently and multi-task to get the job done in the timeliest manner possible
- Match clients with the right top-of-the-line lenses and the perfect frame choice for their individual style
- Expertly custom fit glasses & precisely place prescription in lenses
- Computer-literate: Able to operate Sales Associate tablet and terminal, collect payments and execute accurate paperwork
