Our primary products out of this location are Wound Distributed Gap Cores, Mitre and Butt Lap Laminations, Logs and Fully Assembled Cores in our Flat Stack Department, Steel Sales, Custom Slitting and a warehousing for Tempel Steel’s laminations.

**Job Summary**:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for supporting sales activities of the outside sales representatives. Will work closely with Production Planning, Engineering and Shipping to make sure orders are processed and delivered accurately and on time.

**Principle Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Accurately create work orders for production planning sales orders
- Collaborate with the Shipping department to ensure accurate and on time delivery
- Ensure accurate specification interpretation, provide quotation and technical support, provide timely communication with customers & support staff to facilitate issue resolution
- Work in partnership with Outside Sales Managers providing regular assistance
- Work with Engineering to set up new parts as required
- Accurately prepare US custom forms
- Provide excellent on-going customer service with mínimal supervision
- Ensure ongoing phone calls to potential and existing customers are completed on a timely basis
- Ensure business relationships with customers are built, maintained and continue to grow

**Required Qualifications**:

- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced MS office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong technical and math skills
- Selling skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Professional, organized, disciplined and strong attention to detail
- Ambitious, self-starter and able to take ownership of position
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Work related experience as an inside sales rep, preferably in a technical environment
