Reporting to the Manager, Business & Systems Analysis Chapter, the **Business & Systems Consultant** has deep knowledge of a wide variety of business concepts, practices, and procedures as they relate to IT and general operations. They rely on their expertise, experience, and judgment to plan and achieve goals, and to do a variety of tasks. The Business & Systems Consultant conducts needs analysis, writes requirements/user stories, collaborates with others, and supports the team to increase productivity and reduce costs through technical implementations on projects.

We are currently recruiting for an energetic individual with an aptitude for problem solving and critical thinking to join our **Ingenium Squad in the Insurance Solutions space**.

**What will you do?**
- Understand the big picture to define business capabilities and go forward roadmap
- Analyze and define user needs and translate them into requirements/epics/user stories/data mapping documents
- Analyze and document how systems, processes, procedures, and clients will be impacted by future development with a focus on the links between processes and systems throughout the organization
- Create and/or provide comments into internal and external communications and user documentation
- Review and provide comments on business and technical documentation.
- Support business on the roll-out of what has been developed with a focus on end-to-end validation
- Act in an advisory capacity as well as coach/mentor Business & Systems Analysts
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders (including AVP+), influencing and sharing recommendations

**What do you need to succeed?**
- University degree in business or technology or equivalent experience
- 5 to 10 years of progressive experience as a Business & Systems Analyst with both waterfall and agile methodologies
- Demonstrate knowledge of business and/or technology platforms or ability to learn about technology and digital products
- Experience working with client facing technologies/digital engagement platforms
- Knowledge of Design Thinking principles
- Skilled in test execution and understanding the outcomes
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and simply both complex business and technical concepts and align organization on decisions
- Ability to work and demonstrate cooperation in a matrixed team environment
- Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments
- As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada or worldwide.

- Knowledge of financial services industry
- Knowledge of and experience with Individual Insurance products and/or Ingenium system
- Experience in supporting customer facing operations
- Strong understanding of privacy, compliance, control, and security requirements
- Experience with data & integration modelling
- Experience with business case development and modelling
