Accounts Receivable Clerk

**JBT Group of Companies** is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team located in Ayr, ON.

**Primary Objective**: To take direction and work the Controller and Accounting team. To provide all accounts receivable functions to department with respect to establishing credit lines, monitoring lines, collection duties for overdue accounts.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Monitor credit limits

2. Enter manual invoices.

3. Correct and post all invoices from billing department.

4. Daily entering and posting of deposits, including direct deposits.

5. Billing adjustments or send notice of balance due if necessary.

6. Monitor all receivables accounts, contact customers about past due invoices, delinquent accounts, short payments, unapplied cash etc. Check websites.

7. Deal with day to day customer inquiries.

8. Account auditing when necessary

9. Any/all month end/year end functions.

10. Work required for auditors

11. Bank deposit runs.

12. Maintain spreadsheet of notes for accounts to keep current

13. Running credit profiles through current credit site.

14. Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Aggressive collection skills
- Time Management skills
- Strong computer skills including Word, Excel
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints
- Good organizational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team
- Experience with TruckMate would be an asset

**Requirements**:

- must have own transportation
- must live within an hour of Ayr, ON

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
