EMC Business Solutions LLP (EMC) is part of the Scott Family group of companies, best known for its highly successful Beachcomber Hot Tub manufacturing and distribution business, in the Health & Wellness industry. Beachcomber Hot Tubs has been the leading manufacturer and retailer of hot tubs since 1978. EMC provides third party financing and marketing/digital media services for Beachcomber Hot Tubs. Its mandate is to drive business to Beachcomber retail stores, independent dealer locations, and support its multi-channel Omni-Channel methods of distribution selling operations (most notably with Costco in Canada).
Our modern office is located in West Vancouver; next to the Park Royal Shopping mall and has major bus transit routes to Downtown Vancouver / the Northshore. Our state-of-the-art office boasts a spectacular view of Stanley Park, the Lions Gate Bridge, and Downtown Vancouver. **General**:
- Research, maintain and report on marketing data to aid management in determining marketing direction.
- Assist in creating materials used for proposals, correspondence, and presentation materials and reports.
- Support marketing day-to-day operations including media campaigns, promotions, and projects.
- Arrange and coordinate special events, projects and mailings.
- Assist the organizational efforts in driving lead generation to outlet stores, eStore and independent dealerships and distribution networks.
- Co-ordinate and project manage flow of work, liaising with in house designers and external consultants (Analytics, IT, Digital Marketers, Video, Photography, Translation Services).
- Writing and distribution of agendas, proposals and briefing documents for internal and external meetings and use.
- Track submitted proposals and provide feedback to management. Provide effective administrative support.
- Google Analytics, Google My Business, Adobe Creative, Facebook Ads & Insights.
- CRM & Web CMS Management/Coordination
**Overall Copywriting / Content creation**:
- Roll out Monthly & Quarterly and Yearly promotional campaign communications strategy, and execution across all touchpoints
- Create ad hoc collateral content on request & coordinate changes across all existing collaterals
- Proofreading, maintaining, updating, and checking for content accuracy across all content.
- Plan and produce relevant engaging blog articles on a consistent basis
**Social media content creation**
- Content ideation and creation with the team for social media platforms
- Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Blog content management/structure
- A/B testing various messages and FB formats aiming to increase conversions
- Staying on top of new social media trends and current digital industry trends
**Managing social media platforms**:
- Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram management
- Respond to and/or re-direct client feedback via social media
- Researching and staying on top of new social media trends
- Gaining insights through data to improve marketing performance and report key findings to stakeholders
- Tracking and growing organic content reach across all social channels, through optimization and best practices
**Brand management**:
- Update and maintain brand voice & verbiage across all touchpoints
- Proof all content for latest consistent verbiage, accuracy and ensure Trademark and Registered Trademark rules are honored across all collaterals
- Maintaining the brand guide for internal and external/agency use
- Manage PR and corporate announcements; ideate & deploying CSR initiatives
- Build event communications for training events and annual Conferences
**Experience & Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent
- 3+ years’ experience working in a copywriting/ content strategy or creation / marketing role
- Experience managing campaigns from ideation to execution with analysis and reporting skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills; attention to detail, with an ability to multitask and juggle projects with many moving parts
- An analytical mind and interest in using data to optimize/scale marketing strategies and tactics
- Understanding of the consumer journeys that surrounds the user experience
**Salary**: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
