Ottawa, Canada Drip House Cafe Full time

Drip House Cafe is looking for a Barista to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea. Barista duties include educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills, knowledge of brewing techniques, and a friendly personality. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, so you must be able to be calm and helpful during their visit.

**Duties include**:
**Maintaining a clean work area**
- Working with food safety standards
- Up-selling specialty items
- Taking orders and making recommendations based on the customer’s preferences
- Assisting customers with finding the right beverages for their needs
- Giving excellent customer service (especially during peak hours)
- Providing top-notch service to all guests

**Pay & Perks**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $15.50-$18.00 per hour

- On call
- Weekends as needed
