Level 2 Early Childhood Educator

**Overview**
**Duties**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math, and physical education.
- Create lesson plans that align with developmental milestones and educational standards.
- Foster a positive learning environment through effective classroom management techniques.
- Provide individualized support to children, including those with special needs or requiring early intervention.
- Monitor and assess children's progress using standardized testing and informal assessments.
- Engage in behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among students.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and share best practices.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment conducive to learning.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
- Proven experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom experience.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is a plus.
- Ability to create engaging activities that support literacy education and math skills.
