**Overview**

**Duties**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that align with educational standards and support childhood development.
- Create lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, and physical education tailored to the needs of each child.
- Manage classroom activities effectively to ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support for children with special needs through early intervention strategies and behavior management techniques.
- Foster strong communication with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, including standardized testing results when applicable.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share resources.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective classroom management strategies.
- Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and tutoring is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is a plus.

Pay: $17.75-$18.56 per hour
