**Job description**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Coordinate and Schedule Transportation**: Efficiently assign and adjust bus routes to ensure safe and timely student transportation.
- **Monitor Daily Operations**: Utilize dispatch software to track vehicle locations, manage delays, and optimize routing.
- **Communicate with Key Stakeholders**: Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, school administrators, and families to provide real-time updates and resolve issues.
- **Data Entry & Record-Keeping**: Maintain accurate logs of schedules, vehicle assignments, and compliance with safety regulations.
- **Problem-Solving & Emergency Response**: Address unforeseen delays, vehicle issues, and weather-related disruptions while ensuring mínimal service interruption.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure all transportation operations adhere to company policies and industry safety standards.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Previous experience in **dispatching, logistics, or transportation coordination** is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in **dispatch software and route management systems**.
- Excellent **communication and problem-solving skills** with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Ability to **analyze data** and make informed decisions to improve efficiency.
- Exceptional **organizational skills** and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with **school bus operations, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements** is an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in **logistics or transportation management** are a plus.
