Function: Responsible for developing and maintaining reporting and analytics to inform quality improvement, performance, and system planning at both an organizational level and in the community as the Lead Agency.

**Responsibilities**:
**Agency Information Systems**:

- Support the continuous improvement process related to the structure and usage of agency databases.
- Review and action update notifications from database software companies; assess impact on agency internal processes and disseminate information as needed to appropriate stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing monitoring of client information systems, including the creation of training tools for new and existing users. Respond to day-to-day enquiries from client database users.
- Develop Business Intelligence tools (dashboards, reports) using PowerBI and other data visual software to support ongoing performance and quality measurement, planning, reporting and evaluating, and decision making.

Data Collection and Analysis
- Produce accurate and reliable reporting and analytics to fulfill reporting commitments for both internal quality improvement and performance metrics and Lead Agency initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the ongoing privacy, security, and risk management of client database systems, including the integrity of data. **Perform and log scheduled and random client file access audits as required.**:

- Support LCC’s compliance with the data governance policy as it relates to health records management.
- Monitor LCC compliance in relation to PHIPA as it relates to the collection, retention, and destruction of personal health information.

Lead Agency:

- Supporting the Manager of Quality Assurance, liaise with other service providers to ensure consistency in the exchange of information across agencies.
- Provide guidance and advice to service area providers to generate high quality data that can be leveraged to inform system planning
- Provide guidance and advice for core service providers on records management to support LCC’s Lead Agency responsibilities.

Skills and Abilities
- Ability to manage and manipulate large data sets from a variety of sources
- Ability to use data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)
- Expert knowledge of MS365 environment and related apps
- Ability to troubleshoot software
- Ability to identify risks to data integrity or collection processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, as necessary
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Workload management and organization skills

Knowledge and Experience
- Knowledge of Data Informatics and Analytics
- Knowledge of common software-as-service issues and configurations
- Knowledge of Personal Health Information Protection Act 2004 and other privacy legislation.
- Knowledge of CYFSA and relevance to the client information systems
- Knowledgeable of the history and effects of systemic racism on racialized youth and their ability to access mental health and addictions supports.
- Understanding of the provincial framework, “Right time, right care: Strengthening Ontario’s mental health and addictions system of care for children and young people”

Education and training Qualification(s)

Certificate/College level education in database, computer or technology management, or equivalent combination of education and experience

**Salary**: $52,000.00 per year
