The** Digital Media Buyer** is responsible for defining the market opportunities and optimization opportunities to drive results for clients. They have working knowledge of multiple digital advertising platforms, with a focus on Meta & Google products.

Primary responsibility is implementation and optimization of small to mid-sized budget campaigns and to practice fluid media execution while relaying rationale to support shifts to internal teams. Secondary responsibilities may include creating and presenting learnings, results, and platform knowledge to internal teams. There will be some exposure to development with RFPs and larger strategies on an internal level for learning purposes.

**Who you are**:

- 1-2 years of hands-on experience managing paid search / paid social / display / video
- Agency background in performance media preferred.
- Good communication skills. Understanding of how to distill message to its key points.
- knowledge of Google Ads / Meta / TikTok / and other social platforms features and how they can be effectively integrated into campaigns.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Manage various digital marketing buys to deliver on identified KPIs
- Manage relationships with various vendors, working closely to optimize budget and drive performance.
- Collaborate across accounts with other media team members to provide the internal account team with a holistic view of the client’s digital footprint and guide a better understanding of how each media channel interacts with each other.
- Oversee channel(s) budget and performance including reporting. This may include some work within Data Studio.
- Perform ongoing campaign monitoring.
- Perform ongoing media research on the media landscape and trends to ensure campaigns are maximizing platform opportunities.
- Manages various spend levels across all digital media platforms currently leveraged by the agency (Meta, other Social, SEM, Programmatic, etc)

**General responsibilities**:

- Clear and concise communication with internal (and external, when required) teams regarding timelines, projects, media buys, and clarifying questions.
- Minor project management - there are technical pieces of digital media that the account teams may not know and we will need to guide and spearhead gathering the information that we need to perform our buying properly
- Related certifications. This includes keeping up with yearly Google Certifications and other related courses as required.
- Industry education. Keep up with new and relevant learnings within your specialty. Digital is always changing (we all know how we wake up and there is a random completely overhauled interface on the backend of Facebook) - keeping up with what is changing is KEY to job performance.
