**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Director of Marketing - Ontario, this 8 month internship position will support our social media strategies.

**What you're responsible for**:

- Managing of social media engagement throughout the AIM Recycling network
- Assisting in monitoring, responding to or escalating inquiries through our social media platforms
- Creating content that encourages online engagement with customers and that aligns with company tone and voice
- Tailoring content to ensure suitability for social media and in line with brand objectives by location
- Assisting Digital Marketing Specialist in planning, creating, and publishing new Social Media content (including original text, images, video and code) regularly that builds meaningful customer connections, increases brand awareness and encourages community members to engage with each
- Aiding in providing insight and feedback to improve and optimize performance
- Actively share insights and advice to help improve our social media and integrated communications strategies
- Participating in ad hoc marketing projects as required
- Additional Marketing and Digital Marketing duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:
**To Join our team**:

- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube shorts
- An understanding of marketing and social media strategies, marketing communications, or related
- You are enrolled in marketing, communications, business, or related fields
- Experience designing SEO-driven content in writing, images, and video is an asset

**To be successful**:

- Creativity and problem-solving skills
- Ability to create presentations (PPT) and present ideas
- Strong communication skills (bilingual is an asset)
- Adaptable with an attention to detail
