_Primary/Essential Responsibilities and Duties_
- Operates Float Trucks and other equipment as required
- Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with regulations, company policies and procedures. Must follow manufacturer specifications and guidelines.
- Performs equipment safety, maintenance checks and documents deficiencies.
- Inspects, maintains and makes minor repairs as needed.
- Takes action to avoid potential hazards and obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, and falling objects.
- Studies instructions, plans, and diagrams to establish work requirements.
- Operates Float Trucks to move, load, or unload material.

._General/Other Responsibilities and Duties _
- Drives machines onto trucks, trailers and performs other track maintenance duties as directed.
- Keeps records of material and equipment usage and problems encountered.
- There may be unplanned activities and other duties as assigned
- The Float Truck Operator must also be willing to work as a laborer as needed.
- Job Qualifications _
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 years’ experience operating heavy machinery
- Minimum 3 years’ experience on heavy industrial sites
- Rules (CROR, TIG, CWR) qualifications are an asset
- Valid class 3 or D driver’s license, AZ License with clean drivers abstract
- Prequalification’s requires security clearance background check through third party (E-Rail Safe)
- Reliable, self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and make decisions based on company policies and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Pay: $37.00-$40.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

- French not required
