Automotive Electronics Installer

Vehicle Fleet Solutions Inc (VFS) provides and services GPS tracking and starter interrupt systems. We are a small, established, and growing company in need of a new team member.

We are looking for a well-rounded individual who is adaptable and available to work with us to ensure all aspects of the business are running smoothly. The successful applicant is a self-motivated individual who can keep their cool in the fast-paced environments of vehicle sales and fleet management.

This is a mobile position with a lot of driving, and involves working in all weather conditions. This is a physically demanding job involving, but not limited to, standing, sitting, squatting, twisting, and reaching. You will be responsible for working a large territory across much of the GTA. Communication between staff and with clients is an important part of this position. The successful applicant will be trustworthy and confident, and able to work with mínimal supervision, and flexible hours.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

**Primary Role - Automotive Electronics Installer**

Most of your time will be spent doing GPS installations, involving:

- Install, verify, and troubleshoot various GPS systems in a variety of vehicles, including all types of personal vehicles, and fleet vehicles such as vans, trucks, trailers and machinery.
- Communicate with staff and clients to confirm appointments and vehicle availability.
- Communicate with staff to ensure company tools and vehicle are maintained and in good working order.
- Communicate with staff to ensure that all required supplies are stocked.
- Operate company vehicle in a safe and conscientious manner.

**Qualifications and Skills**

We are willing to provide training, however the successful applicant will have most of these experiences and skills:

- GPS installation experience.
- Automotive electronics knowledge and experience.
- Mechanically inclined (or an Automotive Service Technician 310S / 310T / 310K)
- Ability to dress for all types of weather and for safety.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Good written communication skills.
- G class drivers license in good standing.
- Clean drivers abstract.
- A competent driver with familiarity of GTA roads.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:
