**Overview**
An SEO Specialist is responsible for improving website visibility and driving organic traffic through strategic keyword optimization, content enhancement, and performance analysis. They monitor search trends, implement on-page and off-page strategies, and ensure websites rank higher in search results to boost brand awareness and digital growth.
**Responsibilities**
- **Keyword Research and Analysis**: Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value keywords and opportunities for content optimization and growth.
- **On-Page and Off-Page SEO**: Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies, including link building, metadata optimization, and optimizing website elements like headings, images, and content to align with SEO best practices.
- **Content Strategy Development**: Collaborate with content creators to produce high-quality, SEO-friendly content that resonates with target audiences and drives organic traffic. SEO content writing skills are a plus, including the ability to craft compelling, keyword-optimized articles, blog posts, product descriptions, and landing pages that balance user engagement with search engine requirements.
- **Content Optimization**: Optimize website content across various platforms, including WordPress, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices for maximum visibility.
- **Technical SEO**: Audit and enhance website performance, including site speed, mobile-friendliness, crawlability, and indexability, to ensure compliance with search engine algorithms.
- **Link Building**: Execute strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from reputable sources to boost domain authority.
- **Performance Monitoring and Reporting**: Analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush to inform decision-making, monitor SEO performance metrics, and provide actionable insights through regular reports, adjusting strategies as necessary to maximize results.
- **User Behavior Tracking**: Utilize Google Tag Manager for effective tracking and analysis of user behavior on the site to support data-driven SEO decisions.
- **Competitor Analysis**: Analyze competitors’ SEO strategies to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive edge in search rankings.
- **Industry Trends and Algorithm Updates**: Stay updated on the latest trends in SEO, digital marketing, and search engine algorithms to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- **Collaboration**: Work with marketing, web development, and design teams to integrate SEO strategies across digital platforms.
- **Local SEO**: Optimize business listings and content for local search visibility, including managing Google My Business profiles.
**Note**: Roles are not limited to the tasks listed above. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support the team.
**Qualifications**
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for effective website optimization.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress for seamless content updates.
- Proficiency in using SEMrush for keyword research, competitor analysis, and performance monitoring.
- Experience using various SEO tools for analysis and reporting purposes.
- Experience in SEO content writing, including creating keyword-optimized articles, blog posts, or web content, is an asset.
Pay: $18.50-$21.25 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
