As part of our ongoing growth, we seek a highly motivated and skilled Data Analyst / Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team and elevate our data & analytics practice.

**Job Summary**:
As a Data Analyst / Business Intelligence Analyst at Sanimax, you will contribute to developing and implementing top-tier analytics solutions that leverage data as a strategic asset.

Your key responsibilities will include identifying process improvement opportunities, gathering requirements, developing data models, creating reports and dashboards, maintaining documentation, ensuring quality assurance, and supporting front-end users.

As a member of our BI technical team, you'll collaborate closely with multiple business units to gather insights into their needs and design custom solutions using DataOps best practices.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 3+ years of experience working in data analysis, BI, or related fields
- Proficient in data modelling with SQL, including experience in transformation, testing and documentation
- Proficient in Power BI and Excel, with the ability to design aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly data visualizations
- Experience working with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights
- Highly organized and able to prioritize
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Bilingual in English and French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Masters’ degree in a related field
- 3+ years of experience as a data analyst or business intelligence analyst
- Experience with dbt (data build tool)
- Familiarity with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles and best practices for effective data visualization
- Experience with Agile and DataOps methodologies
- Proficiency in Git (e.g., GitHub) and CI/CD
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
- Familiarity with data science using python
- Understanding of statistical concepts and methods
